The proprietor of Red Lobster is the type of guy who can swim a kilometer, catch the fish, drag it out, start a beach fire, cook it, and feed his toddler, his extended family and the fortuitous beach goers with some grilled sea bream meat. I have witnessed plenty of impromptu barbecues on Aegean shores and when it comes to grilling, the owner of this 65 square meter captivating dwelling is the real thing. It should come as no surprise, then, that the kitchen, dipped in the color of red algae, is the house centerpiece. Fully equipped and ready to tailor your culinary escapades, the open plan kitchen serves as a seamless hub connecting the dining table, the living room, and the two bedrooms. The large outdoor table rests underneath the wooden pergola where most, if not all, of the eating takes place; remember Greece is a food culture! Adjacent to the table and fixed on the tiled patio lies a pillowed bench, so comfortable that many times breakfasts morph into lunches and lunches into early diners. Moving around takes an effort and you just might find yourself spending a couple of days occupied with grilling lobsters, making salads, and sipping wine by the dining table.
